COPING

It's almost the end of the love month, and there's nothing new in my archives. XD

Whew. What a month. Going to school for local nursing board exam review is a bigtime struggle for me. Well, besides adjusting to new faces in the group and surprise lecturers every two or three days, my body needs to exert more effort to be awake from 8 in the morning til 5 in the afternoon, 6 to 7 days a week, to be able to truly focus on my review. Sometimes, it pisses me off to feel so sleepy during the day, and find myself having difficulty sleeping at night! Argh. I just don't understand why some right things are felt in the wrong time.

Anyway, after 3 weeks of the new routine, I have quite adjusted.

I now enjoy talking to people whom I seldom interact with before. I enjoy going to the other rooms to visit my friends.. even if they seem to be so comfortable with their own companies--so comfortable that they don't linger around like I do. haha. :D

It's uplifting to learn that I, being out of the comfort zone, gives way to better things IN ME as well.

Loitering around can be good sometimes! (Yeah) -- it's one way of catching up to chat with my friends, RLE groupmates, and former classmates. ")

It's barely four months before board exam. I have a looong, and I guess, tough way to go.. :)

It's time to tell God, "Lord, I'll do my best. I know YOU will do the rest."

A SUPER LOONG DAY.

Yesterday, February 4, 2010, was probably one of my unforgettable days with C4. Celebrating my birthday with them is truly worth it. How God orchestrated yesterday's events was something I didn't really expect. Thanks God for the little surprises that made me happy. My unique cake from Dads was fab! :)--especially with the special candles on it. And it's been awhile since I've received a bouquet. :) It's a super long day-- tiring, yet unforgettably HAPPY.

Thank you sooo much. :D

CAKE

This was Pastor Joe Bonifacio and Rica Peralejo's wedding cake-- yesterday.
I found it simple and cool. :D
While watching clips from their wedding, I suddenly got teary eyed without reason-- maybe, there is a reason, but it's beyond what I could grasp yesterday. :)
I told God, I'd be a good girl so that He would give a Prince, too someday. XD
I love my church. They help me believe-- that waiting and being waited for is worth it-- that it's possible to remain pure, because it pleases Him-- that sex is a God's gift to couples within marriage-- that He cares for the lovelives of His children. I love my church-- because they just don't encourage me to believe in those, they inspire me because by God's grace, they are able to do those.
Thank you Lord, because those things maybe fool to this world, but they are wise in YOU. :)

HAPPINESS

No, those two puppies above are not the same. On the left was our adorable Coco who only stayed with us for 2 months! :( He accidentally ate a bone or something that caused him die early. He's so cute and sweet that he made everyone in the compound sad when he died. Argh.
But after few weeks of no Coco, another puppy arrived! Yey!! On the right is Shiro (as of now, I don't know if that's his final name). He looks like Coco big time! I'm so happy. Shiro also loves to sleep on the spot where Coco used to sleep. :) I hope Shiro would grow up and live longer. :))
By the way, because I was really sad when Coco died, I asked God that He would give us another Coco. I really meant it. I thought He would just give another puppy from out there; but this morning when I woke up, I was so amazed to see "Coco" again. I guess, God do care about our simple requests and happiness. :)

CRAWLING

"If you can't fly, run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl, but by all means KEEP MOVING." -Martin Luther King Jr.
Bad things come and go. They sap your strength. From intense enthusiasm, it can push you into your lowest low. It's the reality. This world is unfair. Humans are rude. So your effortless flying can become a desperate crawling, anytime. Most of the time, it comes in times when you least expect it. But you just can't afford staying in what's worst-- because no matter how bleak it may seem, by faith, there are always better things ahead. It's paniful to let go. It takes a pruned pride to forgive, it takes time to heal a broken soul, it requires an effort to be happy-- but it's for the best that you have to move on.

HIS GEM

God told me today that I have a cause for celebration.
Today, you should celebrate what an unbelievable life you have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make you stronger. Just as a gem cannot be polished without friction, nor can a life be perfected without trials. Take a time to acknowledge your life and to praise yourself.
