MAKES SENSE?

"Lately," I've learned that not everything God asks us to do makes sense. Because what what makes sense can be understood by our minds. We can draw a  rational explanation why it happened or why it should be done. But since God said,  

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, 

 neither are your ways my ways," 

 declares the LORD." Isaiah 55:8 (NIV)

He is God. We are only humans. We question why and God seldom answers. Just as an animal can't comprehend much of the ways of man, sometimes, God works in ways we cannot fully grasp. Such times, the person who professes the faith can only rely on blind obedience; moreover, do the hard and painful way of waiting. 

"Most of the time, the sweetest delights in life are the ones that take the longest to be delivered."

ONE DAY

I dedicate this poem to someone: someone unkown to me today and someone I'll love the most one day. :D

Written on the way back to Manila, yesterday.

God knows this longing,

Everday I'm hoping

Beside me is like an empty space

Mostly wide and cold

It's full of why's and when?

Several bouts of being lonely

But God comforts me every now and then

...

Funny that I don't even know you

But my heart leaps at the thought of you

My eyes are shooting star

I'm waiting for you, not just as someone,

Like anyone will do

I'm waiting for you, as the right one,

Whom God will direct me to

...

So this love I do reserve,

As I wait for you and pray

To give you this love you deserve

When we'll finally meet one day
