Is it possible that one reason a person might feel unloved isn't just because he is not given love but because he does not understand the language of love given to him?
One of the grandest expression of love would be a sacrifice- love given out of a risk and with a greater cost. Sometimes, love is expressed through gifts-- tangible things that maybe expensive or not.
But there are also simple expressions of love-- so simple that they are often neglected. Simple because all you have to do is to be there for someone, offering your presence and time.
I realized that people do not always long for the grandest language of love. Not everyone requires a sacrifice or a gift to feel loved. Most of us just hope for someone who is present and sincere-- like a touch that quietly speaks to our heart that everything will turn out right. :)
